Sami's first gymnastics competition

So still catching up, but I wanted to show these videos just the same.  Sami had her first team competition on May 9th.  I was judging so I didn't get to see much of her performance.  Luckily Alison filmed some for me.  She is still wobbly and has quiet a few small mistakes (not pointing her toes, not keeping her legs straight, etc) but all in all she did well.  She earned a blue badge (level 3 out of 5 -- which is really good considering its her first year competing)





Alison was also competitng.  I asked Sami to film Alison so I could see how she did and this is the best that she got (you can stop after 15s unless you really want to see shoes and listen to Sami chatting)
Alison got a tricolor badge (5th out of 5 levels)  Her floor exercise and balance beam were almost flawless. 


At the end of the day the team results were given and LES HERBIERS gymnastics teams all took first place -- once again the champions of our departement.  They were all really awsome and deserved to win first place!  So next competition is June 6th -- so look for some updates!
